However, we did stay in the area and I graduated from Gar-Field in '64. My father continued to coach football for QHS through '63. I attended 2 years of college at Shenandoah College in Winchester but decided not to continue and went to work in DC for the FBI. Meet my husband, Jim Tobias, while he was stationed in the area. We met in May of '67 and married that September. We are still together and enjoying thoughts of retiring soon. Our two daughters are have moved on - Bobbi-Ann, 31, moved to Toledo, OH and Shannon, 30, moved to Daytona Beach. I've been involved with hobby ceramics in almost every aspect of the field - from hobbyist, to studio owner, and then on to travel-teaching representing some of the manufacturers. To my surprised I acutally worked as assistant editor of two national ceramic publications, then recruited for yet a third publication as editor.. After years of being on the road or constantly thinking and living that nomad life (something I learned to enjoy during my childhood), I decided it was time to stay home, enjoy my husband and find a "real" job. Just received a new job title and a unique opportunity - not too bad for us "senior" employees! Greg asked to list people we may be looking for so here is part of my list - Jennifer Heepe, Johnny Dye, Fred Woodard, Barbara and Betty King, Barbara Horner and of course, my father's football team members. 9/6/00: Finally got your wonderful list to magically appear on my spreadsheet. However, we did stay in the area and I graduated from Gar-Field in '64. My father continued to coach football for QHS through '63. I attended 2 years of college at Shenandoah College in Winchester but decided not to continue and went to work in DC for the FBI. Meet my husband, Jim Tobias, while he was stationed in the area. We met in May of '67 and married that September. We are still together and enjoying thoughts of retiring soon. I've been involved with hobby ceramics in almost every aspect of the field - from hobbyist, to studio owner, and then on to travel-teaching representing some of the manufacturers. To my surprised I acutally worked as assistant editor of two national ceramic publications, then recruited for yet a third publication as editor.. After years of being on the road or constantly thinking and living that nomad life (something I learned to enjoy during my childhood), I decided it was time to stay home, enjoy my husband and find a "real" job.
